Harris Teeter deals

Posted by Jen Ehrhardt on
OK, so I made my first trip to Harris Teeter this morning for super double coupons and here's everything I got for a grand total of about $25!  I did realize once I got home that only 15 of the 20 coupons that I used had doubled.  So, I called the store and they told me that it is probably because some coupons had the "not subject to doubling" or "do not double" on them.  I've never had that problem in the past so I hadn't paid any attention when I originally went thru my coupons...  So, I went thru them again this afternoon and totally pulled out the high dollar coupons that do not have that caviat from my binder and have them separated out to shop with tomorrow.  Even so, I think I got quite a bit of goodies for a great price - not as great as I usually do but I'm hoping to do better tomorrow :)
Some HOT deals to take note of...
  • Danimals yogurt & crush cups are 3 for $6 - there have been a lot of $1 off coupons in the paper lately, so you can use them to get these absolutely FREE!
  • Use the recent $1 off 2 candy bar coupons for Twix, Milky Way, Snickers or 3 Musketeers to get 2 candy bars FREE!
  • Fiber One yogurt is on sale for BOGO, use 2 coupons for $1 off and get these for better than free!!
Here's my receipt.  You can see that my total was $25.62 - I saved $48.76, $14.76 of which was from my VIC card (store sales) so I got $34 in savings from my coupons!!

Thanks. A friend just got me to your site. I just started 'couponing' 3 weeks ago and don't think I did to bad. I paid $28.63 after $39.61 in coupons and $7.63 in VIC savings. My problem is that I do not have a stach yet, but future promotions should be even better savings. As a single dad, I get laughed at by my buddies, but the noose on my budget has loosened a lot.
