So my day started off with me having to go pick up my son from school because he has a spot of ringworm on his arm (EWWW!) and then I found out that he can't go back until after having 24 hrs of medicine (lovely, so no school tomorrow either). Needless to say I had to pay a copay for the doctor and my deductable for his medicine.... BUT, I had a CVS coupon for a $25 gift card with a new or transferred prescription :) Cha-ching, he-he-he, so now my day was getting a bit better! So, I searched the sale ad yet again and found this deal that I hadn't even considered....
Buy $25 worth of eligible Proctor & Gamble products and get $10 ECB
There are several things included in this promo, but I decided to go for laundry products.
Tide detergent is on sale for $6
Bounce dryer bars are on sale for $4
Tide stain release is on sale for $4 - I decided not to go with this because there are mixed reviews on tide.com - one lady actually said it made the colors in her clothes fade.
So, here's what I did:
Tide detergent x3 = $18
Bounce dryer bars x2 = $8
Total = $26
used $5 off $25 purchase from taking CVS Flu IQ Quiz I told you about HERE
used (1) $1 off 1 Bounce dryer bar coupon (man I wish I would have cut more out!)
used $6 ECB I had in my wallet from the other day
NEW Total = $14 and I got $10 ECB back, so my net was $4 for all that!!!
Now, there are $1 off Tide coupons out there - I have just been passing them over since I rarely buy Tide because I just refuse to pay more than $2 for detergent (Yes, I'm cheap and I'm proud!). So, without any ECBs you could used 3 tide coupons for $1 off 1 and 2 Bounce dryer bar coupons for $1 off one - and don't forget that $5 off $25 purchase coupon - and you would only pay $15 and get $10 ECB - putting you at a net of $5, that's $1 each!!!
Have fun with this deal - I'm doing laundry right now ;-)
